Peterculter Ladies

If you are thinking of joining a golf club, then Peterculter offers you the opportunity to play on a beautiful course with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

The success of the Ladies Section has exceeded all expectations and we now have one of the biggest Ladies Sections in Scotland.

- Since opening for play in 1989, Peterculter Golf Club has worked tirelessly to develop a very inclusive environment where ladies can enjoy both competitive and social golf in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. -

Golfers of all abilities find it easy to integrate into this busy and very friendly section. As well as competitive golf, there are many other opportunities to enjoy social golf;
- on the course
- in the Clubhouse
- away days to other local courses
- annual mini-break for Ladies enjoying a 2 day hotel stay with golf

There are also various social evenings during the year, including new members evening, prize-givings and Christmas lunches.

Competitions

Competition days for ladies are Tuesdays and Saturdays/Sundays in which all ladies are welcome to enter. These competitions are a mix of medal and stableford competitions, as well as various competitions for particular trophies.

There is also an annual Open "Ladies Weekend", in May, with Singles Strokeplay on Saturday and Tri-am on Sunday. Help with local overnight accommodation on request.

Our ladies also enjoy knock-out individual, pairs and mixed competitions.

A series of friendly matches against other North East clubs are held throughout the season at home and away.

Whilst all counting medals and stableford competitions are played during the main golf season, Ladies golf at Peterculter continues throughout the winter with the same dedicated tee times as the summer.

Senior Ladies Information

There is a very active Senior Ladies Section who have dedicated tee times on Thursday mornings to play a weekly competition, one of which per month is a counting competition for handicap. Should any lady wish only to play 9 holes, this is also possible on a Thursday morning.

CALS (Central Aberdeenshire Ladies Seniors) provides opportunities to play other local courses at a discounted rate.
