We just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone at Peterculter for the smooth running of the IADC Tournament once again this year.

Everyone was very complimentary about the course so please pass this on to Paul and his greenkeepers. They did a fantastic job.

For catering, our thanks go to Ingram and Jim for all their hard work along with Audrey, Michelle and Rachel who served everyone so well.

Of course, many thanks to you, Andrew and Jennifer for all your help too and another special thanks to Audrey who was at the Club at the crack of dawn to make sure everything was organised and in place for the event.

Wishing you all the best for the season ahead.

Kind regards

Hector and Christine

I would like to compliment the greens staff who work hard and gave us a golf course in great condition from tee to green, you guys get a bit of stick from time to time but I believe in credit where it’s due, well done, the greens in particular and the course looked fantastic.

I would also like to thank the starter and the staff and volunteer members who made us all very welcome on the day.

Best Regards

Hi Dean

I just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail as I never saw you after my round on Saturday.

If you could maybe pass on my thanks to the usual suspects who help out during Competition Days , bar and catering staff , starters , scorers etc but the main thing I anted to say in the e-mail was a
massive well done to the greenkeeping staff - what a superb condition the golf course is in. I am constantly hearing good reports about how good the greens are and on Saturday I saw it with my own eyes.

I have played a wee bit of golf out and about this year and can honestly say that outwith Royal Aberdeen, Peterculter is the best greens I have putted on all season.

Bill Lints ( who I remembered from Inchmarlo days ) was practically ramming a membership application into my pocket !! Will need to see what is going to happen down at the Caley in the next year or so but I think it is something I m going to have to give a thought to now i am staying in Culter anyway.

Friends Of Anchor Charity Golf Event - 29th May 2014

Hi Dean

To echo Steve Gibbs sentiments, thank-you so much again to you, Ross, Audrey, Michelle, Ingram and the team for the incredible hospitality and support you laid on for our Golf Day.

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you all and we greatly appreciate you going above and beyond to help make the day the great success that it was.

Great news on the fundraising front. As it stands, we’re sitting at £58,000 raised from this year’s Gala Golf Event with the hopes of another £2k donation coming in this week to bring us up to the £60k mark. Every penny of which will go directly into benefitting North-east cancer and haematology patients receiving treatment at the ANCHOR Unit, ARI.

Just a short note of thanks for a truly fantastic day / night on Saturday - and these events don't happen without an awful lot of work behind the scenes. Great job, well done by The Committee, Kippie Lodge, PGC and of course yourselves. We do a lot of client entertainment throughout the year but this event is always a big favourite.

Thanks again.

I just wanted to thank you and everyone else involved in Saturday's Pro-Cel-Am for all your hard work. We were blessed with fabulous weather and a course in outstanding condition. Please pass on our thanks to the greenkeeping staff for all their efforts.

I am sure I speak on behalf of all my fellow professionals when I say it is always a pleasure to come to Peterculter to take part in this event, and this year was no acception. The organisation was first class again this year.

Many thanks for your continued support of the Scottish Region - It really is much appreciated.

We just wanted to say thank you so much for enabling us to hold our annual  Archway Charity Golf Day at Peterculter last Friday.

Despite the weather everyone enjoyed the event  - and we really appreciate your support.  The staff were great as usual and made everything go like clockwork.

But as you know our Golf Day is not just about the golf. The teams through their generosity  helped us raise  over £4000.00.

Archway offers a lifeline of care to almost 200 children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, and their families, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, year in year out.

Every year we have to raise over £ 70,000 to fund a range of services and equipment that make such a difference to all our service users.  Thanks to a legacy donation from one of the founder members of Archway, we have launched our most ambitious appeal to date - to raise £250,000 to purchase a holiday cottage in the local area, adapted for disabled use, which all our families and service users can use. We hope to add even more services in the future that all our service users and support like yours is vital.

It may take several years to reach our target but events like the Golf Day bring us much closer and we cannot thank you enough.

We hope we may rely on your support in the future but in the meantime, please accept our heartfelt thanks once again.

 With our best wishes.

Janine & Phyllis, Archway, Aberdeen
