Dress Code

All adult golfers must abide by the dress code as detailed in the Club Bye-laws.

Dress Code on the Course:
• All players should be dressed suitably for golf, ie smart but casual.
• Golf shoes MUST be worn. It is considered acceptable for juniors to wear trainers.
• No torn or studded jeans or torn trousers.
• Tailored/Dress shorts only may be worn.
• Sports shorts are not permitted.
• Items that SHOULD NOT be worn are football tops, rugby tops, track suits, sleeveless shirts for men, collarless T shirts, blue denim jeans, torn or studded jeans, torn trousers, sports shorts, cargo trousers and brief fashion shorts.
• Ladies can wear sleeveless shirts with a collar and golf skirts all of which should be of an acceptable length.

Dress Code in the Clubhouse:
• The following must not be worn in the clubhouse: wet clothing, Hats/Caps, t-shirts, football or rugby tops and any type of golf shoes.
• Only tailored shorts are acceptable in the clubhouse as well as denim jeans providing they are free of any fraying, holes, rips or tears.
• Golf shoes are NOT to be worn in the lounge or locker passage room and suitable footwear MUST be worn in the clubhouse at all times.

All members of staff have been instructed by the Committee to ensure that this Code is adhered to at all times.

Any member / guest not adhering to the code will be denied access to the course or refused serving at the bar.
